8:15pm – Leo Lovechild

Twangy rock n roll to dance to

Originally born and bred as a Rock & Roll band (Lovechild) in the basement venues, dive bars, and subway cars of the Lower East Side, the project of Leo Lovechild morphed into a quarantine-era solo show before emerging today as a twangy four-piece of killer musicians who carry Leo’s fresh and authentic songwriting reimagined into something…somewhat country, somewhat rock, and extremely New York. His upcoming album, Skyscraper Country, portrays the life and times of F.J. Stein, a struggling singer/songwriter who desperately yearns for fame and love as he peddles his way through venues and relationships both in and out of New York City. The album was released August 1, 2025.

9:15 pm – KidBess & The Magic Ring

5-piece psychedelic rock from the real upstate NY

KidBess & The Magic Ring is a five-piece psychedelic rock band from upstate New York. Led by songwriter KidBess (Bess Greenberg), the Binghamton-based band pushes boundaries of genre. Featuring powerhouse vocals, cello, two guitars, electric bass and drums, the band’s intoxicating blend of intimate introspective lyricism, sonic layering, textured sound effects, and resilient emotive strength have enabled them to carve out their own unique sonic space. Greenberg’s raspy timbre, rooted in the bluesy tradition of Grace Slick and Janis Joplin, adds a layer of grit and intensity to the sound of their ethereal soundscapes, exhibiting a level of emotional depth and authenticity appreciated in contemporary times. Unified dynamics is where the band truly shines. The vocal is cradled, harmonized and complemented by the haunting brilliant swells of “The Magic Ring”: cellist Jeff McAuley, guitarist Joe Alston, bassist Mike Amadeo and drummer Moses Valle. The band weaves a textured web of emotive sonic waves that amplify Greenberg’s intimate genuine words; melted together, the sound will hold you close, rock you, and send you through emotional sonic spheres.
