Easy Sweetheart is a Dream Grunge band founded in Kingston, NY by songwriting team Jake Offermann (Terrapin Kitchen, Grampfather) and Chloe Cannon (Bluestone Quarry, Ladies of the Valley). The “Dream Grunge” genre label came from the two realizing that their sound somehow embodied the tenets of dream pop and traditional 90s grunge all at once. The quartet is rounded out by Andrew Blot (A Whole Nother, Grampfather) and Simon Mandic (Easy Sweetheart). Some of our favorite influences include R.E.M, Hole, The Cure, Best Coast, The Sundays, Twin Peaks, and all things 90’s and dreamy.
