Going on at 9 is Marlboro:
A band hailing from the titular Marlboro who play some excellent original music! They play melodic rock with a funky/ephemeral vibe to it.
Going on at 10 is Yolanda Yolanda:
Flown to the U.S. at the age of four by a single mother, the Chilean-born singer/songwriter has overcome the oppressive forces that have pushed him and his family back for being hispanic immigrants. Now at 22 years old, he aims to share his life as a stranger in a strange land. From his non-existent relationship with his father to the way politics have undermined the stability of the people, Ariel Acevedo touches on the sensitive and controversial themes of immigrant life growing up.
Check out Yolanda Yolanda’s music here.
Going on at 11 is Camp Saint Helene:
Dylan Nowik, of Steady Sun, and vocalist Liza Ibarra began Camp Saint Helene shortly after moving to the Catskill Mountains. Their studio, where they did most of their writing, is located on the site of a former Christian summer camp-turned-arts-colony, which has informed much of their artistic process. Their sound lies somewhere within a shimmer of hope and a hint of doom.
