Lily Seabird is a musician whose music is a mix of folk, indie rock, and grunge a la Big Thief, Wilco, and Dinosaur Jr. Lily’s songs capture the nature of various kinds of relationships, taking sometimes painful memories and experiences and turning them into charming songs. She has been based in Burlington since January of 2019, before moving to Burlington she played in a two-piece punk band under the name Mommy’s Lying in New York City.
