In The Pocket is a seven piece funk/soul cover band performing a variety of dance music from the 60’s to today. The band has been performing throughout the Hudson Valley since it’s founding in 2009. In 2013 the band was voted: “Best Local Musician” by Hudson Valley Magazine.

In The Pocket brings a tight sound and a fun filled evening. The band selects songs designed to keep audience members on their feet and enjoying the music. With an onstage camaraderie that is hard to find, they quickly and easily slip from one genre to the next, performing songs by: Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, and No Doubt to name a few. Their horn section allows them to stand out above the rest, enabling them to perform most songs left untouched by most cover bands. This seven piece band is ready to make you dance!
