AM Gold began jamming the material together in late 2022, with plans to find additional musicians to replicate the layered approach of the recordings. Instead, they discovered that with the aid of an octave pedal for bass tones, occasional guitar looping to support solos, and a vocal pedal for a touch of harmonies, the performances already sounded full for a two piece. Thus, the material was deemed ready for human consumption, and the AM Gold project was reborn.
