Keegan Ales is happy to welcome The Bloodletters to our stage!

The Bloodletters are a Groove Rock Punk Trance band based out of New Paltz, NY.  They’re here to rock you and make you boogie!

On a hot summer days many years ago, new to town Taylor Davis decided to cool off by taking a dip in the Wallkill river. Unbeknownst to him, the waters are off limits due to high levels of several toxic contaminates.

Noticing the commotion from the bridge, 3 friends: Rick Birmingham, Weezer Miles and Keir Zemaitis braved the polluted waters and pulled the unaware Davis to safety and explained the situation.

In the coming weeks the 4 men started noticing strange changes, whereas they once held no musical skill they now had new found abilities far greater than those around them. Taylor and Keir developed a psychic rapport on the drums and bass and Weezer and Rick grew into a supernatural 4 armed guitar wielding behemoth. Armed with their new powers they hunkered down in Davis’s Tin Roof studios and began crafting the songs that would become the Bloodletters.

Blending hard rock, psychadelica and metal with a Southern delivery the band has been described as “Levon Helm fronting Judas Priest” and begged the question “what are these hippies doing playing metal?”.

The Bloodletters first self titled record can be found on Spotify and on the Electrick Children soundtrack. Their new genre expanding album will be released in 2019.
